Content Upload & Workflow Guidelines
The standards we follow to keep your content consistent, high-quality, and positioned for long-term growth.
01Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to keep your content consistent, high-quality, and positioned for long-term growth.
How the process works:
- You submit your content.
- We edit and complete quality checks.
- You review and approve.
- We upload and optimize.
This system ensures every video is delivered at a high standard while staying on schedule.
02Content Submission Timeline
To protect quality and consistency, content must be submitted within the required production window.
- Videos up to 15 minutes: Must be submitted 2 to 3 business days before the scheduled upload day.
- Videos over 15 minutes: Must be submitted 3 to 4 business days before the scheduled upload day.
This gives our team the time needed for editing, quality control, revisions, optimization, and scheduling.
03Content Ready for Editing
Content is considered officially submitted when all required materials have been provided in full and are ready for production.
This may include:
- Final raw footage
- Intros and outros
- B-roll
- Brand assets
- Listing details or supporting information
- Required links
- Any notes needed for editing direction
Partial submissions, missing files, broken links, inaccessible folders, unclear instructions, or footage that requires clarification may delay production. In these cases, the submission timeline begins once all required materials are received and accessible.
04Review & Approval Timeline
Please provide feedback within 24 hours of receiving your video, thumbnail, or content for review.
If no response is received within this timeframe, MarketMakerMGMT may either upload the content as scheduled or move the content to the next available upload window, depending on what best protects the channel schedule and production quality. This helps maintain upload consistency while allowing flexibility when needed.
05Consolidated Feedback Requirement
To keep production efficient, all client feedback should be submitted in one clear, consolidated message whenever possible. Feedback shared across multiple messages, platforms, emails, calls, or from multiple decision-makers may create delays or conflicting direction.
MarketMakerMGMT will move forward using the clearest approved direction available. If multiple people are involved in the approval process, the client is responsible for ensuring feedback is aligned before submitting it to our team.
06Revision Guidelines
Each video includes reasonable revisions related to editing, quality control, and alignment with the original direction provided.
Revisions may include:
- Small pacing adjustments
- Minor text or graphic corrections
- Audio adjustments
- Thumbnail refinements
- Corrections to details provided before editing began
Major creative changes, reshoots, new footage, new direction, script changes after editing, or requests that significantly alter the original edit may be treated as a new project or additional deliverable.
07Reshoots & Major Content Changes
Our editing is based on the original footage submitted by the client. If a video has already been fully or substantially edited and the client later chooses to reshoot or significantly change the content, the original edit will still count as one completed deliverable from the monthly package.
In these situations, the revised version may be treated as a new video project and may count as an additional package deliverable, depending on the scope of the requested changes. To avoid unnecessary rework, clients are encouraged to submit all final footage, intros, outros, supporting assets, and production notes before editing begins.
08Rescheduling & Late Content Policy
Late content will automatically be moved to the next week's same upload day or the next available production window.
This ensures:
- No disruption in your content calendar
- Proper time for strong execution
- Higher quality final delivery
- Fair production capacity across all client accounts
If no content is received, we may reoptimize an existing video, create a new thumbnail, refresh SEO and metadata, or adjust the schedule based on what best supports the channel.
09Rush Requests
We understand that urgent needs may come up. However, rush requests are not guaranteed and depend on current production capacity. Content submitted outside the required timeline may be rescheduled to protect quality and prevent disruption to other client accounts. If a rush request is approved, turnaround time, revision availability, and upload timing may be limited.
10What We Need From You
To keep your channel moving consistently, we need the following from you:
- Submit content within the required timelines
- Provide feedback within 24 hours
- Communicate delays in advance
- Provide complete files and clear direction
- Keep required account access active
Strong communication creates stronger results.
11Account Access & Platform Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing timely access to all platforms, folders, accounts, and tools required for production and upload.
This may include:
- YouTube Studio access
- Google Drive access
- Brand folders
- Scheduling platforms
- Approval tools
- Required login permissions
If access is missing, restricted, revoked, or delayed, production and upload timelines may be affected. These delays are considered client-side delays and do not qualify for refunds, credits, or replacement deliverables.
12Copyright, Licensing & Content Compliance
MarketMakerMGMT takes care to use approved, appropriate, and properly sourced materials during the editing and production process. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any footage, images, music, logos, testimonials, claims, data, or third-party materials they personally provide are accurate, approved for use, and legally permitted to be included in their content.
MarketMakerMGMT is responsible for the creative assets, stock materials, music, graphics, and editing elements selected by our team during production. It is important to understand that copyright and licensing systems on YouTube are not always perfect or permanently fixed. Music, audio, footage, or third-party materials that appear approved at the time of upload may later receive a copyright notice if YouTube's system updates, a rights holder changes their policy, licensing information changes, or ownership details are updated.
If a copyright issue appears after upload, our team will review the notice and determine the appropriate next step based on the type of restriction.
Copyright Claim
A copyright claim usually means YouTube has detected music, audio, footage, or another asset that may belong to a third-party rights holder. In many cases, a copyright claim does not mean the channel is in trouble. The video may remain live and viewable, but the rights holder may choose to run ads, collect revenue, track performance, restrict monetization, mute the affected section, or limit where the video can be viewed.
If the claim is connected to materials selected by MarketMakerMGMT, our team will review the issue and determine whether the best next step is to leave the claim as-is, replace the music, mute the affected section, trim the affected section, re-export the video, or take another appropriate action. If the claim is connected to client-provided materials or client-approved messaging, any required revisions may be treated as additional work depending on the scope.
Copyright Partial Block
A copyright partial block means the video is still available on YouTube, but it may be blocked in certain countries or regions. For example, a video may be viewable in the United States and most major viewing regions while being blocked in limited regions such as Russia and Belarus. In this case, the video is not necessarily removed, and the channel is not necessarily penalized.
If a partial block does not affect the client's target audience or primary market, MarketMakerMGMT may recommend leaving the video live as-is. If the restriction affects a meaningful audience or business concern, our team will review available options.
Copyright Strike
A copyright strike is more serious than a standard copyright claim. A copyright strike usually means a copyright owner has submitted a legal removal request and YouTube has removed the content from the platform. This can affect the channel's standing and may require additional action from the channel owner.
If a copyright strike occurs, MarketMakerMGMT will review the issue with the client and help determine the appropriate next step. Depending on the situation, this may include removing or replacing content, providing documentation, adjusting future production choices, or advising the client to seek legal guidance.
MarketMakerMGMT cannot guarantee that YouTube, Content ID, rights holders, or third-party licensing systems will never issue a claim, block, restriction, or strike. However, our team will handle copyright notices responsibly and work with the client to protect the channel wherever possible.
13Onboarding, Billing & Refund Policy
When you sign with MarketMakerMGMT, we immediately reserve production capacity, team resources, and scheduling for your account. To keep projects moving efficiently, clients are responsible for providing content, account access, approvals, and communication in a timely manner.
- Monthly payments remain due according to the agreed billing schedule, even if content, approvals, or onboarding materials are delayed by the client.
- Payments are non-refundable.
- If a client becomes unresponsive or delays onboarding, production may be paused until the necessary materials or communication are received.
- Our services are based on reserved production capacity and team resources, not solely on completed uploads.
14Missed Uploads & Deliverable Completion Policy
We understand that delays can happen. To provide flexibility while maintaining a consistent workflow, any missed uploads or outstanding deliverables may be completed within 14 calendar days of the originally scheduled upload date.
If a month ends before all package deliverables have been completed, any remaining deliverables may be carried over into the following month and scheduled as production capacity allows. Our team will work with clients to bring deliverables back on track and maintain consistency.
However, if content, approvals, communication delays, or other client-side factors prevent completion beyond the 14-day grace period, MarketMakerMGMT reserves the right to consider those deliverables fulfilled. Outstanding deliverables will not roll over indefinitely.
After the grace period:
- Deliverables may be removed from the production schedule.
- No replacement uploads, credits, refunds, or make-up work will be provided.
- Future content will continue according to the current production schedule.
This policy helps us maintain quality, consistency, and fair resource allocation across all client accounts.
15Official Communication Channels
To keep communication organized, official project updates, approvals, feedback, and scheduling notes should be shared through the approved communication channels established during onboarding. Messages sent through personal texts, social media, verbal conversations, or other informal channels may not be considered official feedback or approval unless confirmed through the appropriate project channel.
16Holidays & Office Closures
MarketMakerMGMT observes select holidays and office closures throughout the year. When a scheduled upload, review deadline, or production timeline is affected by a holiday or closure, the schedule may be adjusted accordingly. Clients are encouraged to submit content early before holidays or planned office closures to help maintain consistency.
17The Goal
Consistent uploads plus strong execution create better reach, stronger performance, and long-term growth. We've built this system to ensure your channel is supported with structure, consistency, and care every single week.
